    Countrywide or Bank of America?

Since Countrywide is now Bank of America, which one should I list as my mortgage holder? The county register of deeds still shows my mortgage being held by Countrywide, but all letters, etc. that I receive for the mortgage are from Bank of America. Thanks.

You list whichever you address your payments to. Countrywide is just owned by Bank of America, so it wouldn't matter if you used either name. Just make sure you have the right address.

My opinion, put them both down as separate creditors with the same account numbers. Put the debt amount in the correct column for one, and in the other debt column use ( " ) ditto marks. Do not double the $ amounts obviously because it is only one debt, just two creditors.

On a side note, if you have an ex-wife / ex-husband who is on an credit card account who is not just an authorized user but a co-account holder, you will need to list your ex-spouse as a CREDITOR too.
