One of the larger factors that may come into play in your journey is how well you can get to know the "Trustee." Experienced Bankruptcy Attys in the area will more than likely know all the Trustees in that same area and be able to give you guidance on how to handle a given Trustee, especially at your 341 Hearing. That, and any "direct negotiations" with that trustee, as needed. That's where I found my bankruptcy Atty most useful. It's not so much the Bankruptcy Judge you have to worry about. It's the Trustee. The better you get to know/work with them, the better your experience should be. Let them handle the judge.
