I mailed the application today!!
I finally decided to use 100% of the federal wild card....declare my few assets far, far above their real value...and cover it all with wild card.
Just seems like the best way to avoid this hassle. I couldn't find out if I could amend later to add more wildcard coverage if the trustee decided to take anything....so...I just declared all the values outrageously high and use all of the wildcard right away.
I figure the worst case is I will have to explain why a car that is really only worth $300 was declared at $3000. Why jewelry really worth only $4k (probably less since I couldn't find even a pawn shop willing to make an offer on most of it) was declared at $8k. And so forth.
Now I chew my fingernails till the 341
