Help - can't open bank account!!!

My husband's bank account has been closed, but now he can't open an account anywhere to put his wages into.

He's tried Natwest, Nationwide, Co-op bank - but no one will accept an undischarged bankcrupt.

Help!!!

Is there any one who will take him?

Have you tried something smaller--like a local credit union?

Try opening a savings account instead of a checking account. They might let you do that since you can't write a check against it. It may be a pain in the ass to have to get money orders or cashiers checks, but at least you'll have an account.

There are also some "internet" options that have been mentioned on the Forum in the past. Maybe try searching old threads and see what turns up.
