On my first coming to BK forums and reading some of the posts I put my CC's away. I have been using only debit and cash. I don't have any non-exempt items. Too poor I guess.

I got my grand kids some gifts that I will ship on Monday. All cash.

I sold some exempt items and using that cash as suggested.

My car repair wasn't as bad as I thought and I paid cash.

I need to replace my dentures and will get those before I file using cash from exempt items I sold.

When it rains it pours. Now my phone is shot and I need a new one. I will be moving and not sure if I will be able to get internet service after my BK I thought I would buy a Verizon phone and go with their service before BK. I was shocked at the phone prices. Is it OK to spend $300 on a phone before filing?

By the time I am done with what I need I will have spent all the money I got from my garage and exempt item sales.

Money for the attorney will come from my regular income.

we didn't list verizon and it never interfered with our service at all, i would not list them if you are current.

remember this all :PRIOR TO FILING!!!!

in the state we filed the ONLY rule that followed was the 90 day rule on CC's period. i think we were asked when was the last time we used them. in our case it was over a year but i know from what our atty said this particular trustee struck firmly to rules of law which was a 90 day period for using your CC's. what i am saying is, if the rules are followed for the bk then it would be only a 90 day look back and not six months or more. does it happen, YES, that is when you atty such object to the time periods in question.
