    time share questions re: bankruptcy

I'm planning on filing bankruptcy but not until next year. We have several time shares that are the 'point' system. Am still paying on them. We also have a camping time share that is paid off but we have to pay a yearly fee to. We never use it and find it a waste of money. What will happen to all of them when I file? I really don't want to keep them. The one that is paid off has no balance due, but this years fee is due soon and I'm hoping that if I do not pay it it will be discharged with the bankrupcy. Hoping anyway.
Any insite from others who may have had this problem?

I wouldn't bother paying since it will be discharged.
Occasionally you hear about a tt who wants to try to sell a timeshare as an asset, but mostly I think they realize that they aren't good investments and will be more trouble than they are worth to try to sell.
Maybe if it's Disney.... might be a dif story.
Sounds like a good time to go camping

List the ones you still owe money on plus the fees for the one paid off and then, surrender them all to the trustee.

Thank you for your reply. I was thinking (and hoping) the same thing. I'm trying to think of all the things I need to get rid of that I still owe money on. There is no way I can pay some of these off before I'm too old to work, and that time is coming very, very soon.
