Even if I were never able to file, what's the worst that could happen?

I went for 3 1/2 yrs. from losing my job (the first time) to filing, only one creditor filed and got a judgment, and drove me crazy with court summons', income and asset questionnaires, etc. I ended up on a payment plan for 8 months before filing, because I couldn't deal with it any more. The same attorneys acquired 2 more accounts, so I knew there would be no end. Unemployment was ending soon and I just had SS, no way could I afford to defend myself against all of it. Ate oatmeal for about 2 months and paid my BK attorney.
