We were discharged from Ch7 around 3/18, and I just received an email statement from AmEx yesterday (I have/had no balance with them at the time of BK). Is it possible this card has survived? I thought AmEx was generally one of the first to close accounts. How long does it usually take for cards like this to close after BK?

There is no way to really tell. Some have had cards survive for some time, only to have them closed unexpectedly and somewhat randomly. Perhaps it slipped through the cracks, or because you have not defaulted on any AMEX-related debts, they are letting you keep it. If you do use the card, please do not depend on the availability of being able to charge. During a quarterly or annual account review (AR), AMEX could pull the card.Chapter 7 (No Asset/Non-Consumer) Filed (Pro Se) 7/08 (converted from Chapter 13 - 2/10)
Status: (Auto) Discharged and Closed! 5/10
