A second chime it for Des. Remember for the most part, we are people like you who only have experience in the process. By any means, this Forum does not give legal advice, only opinion as we and the Forum are not practicing lawyers. Des is but not by the Forum or under your venue. Also every case is a little different and every District has slightly different procedures. By reading here, you get a consensus of what experience has been for others and free advice. Free means it is only worth what you paid for it. It is you that has to judge if it fits your case. 'Hub

I typed it up like Des said to, all that information is in bold and properly formatted. It is not a personal letter, but a formal court document. I also looked up the judge in my case, and read here requests for how to format the letter and followed those guidelines. Thank you for your input though!

I thought it might just be semantics. Just wanted to be sure.

Congratulations on having your case re-instated. You see, some things can be fixed after an Order is entered! You just need to stay on top of things and petition the court when you want them to reconsider something.

We are all glad that we could help. But, I do have a question. Did the Court reinstate the case on its own (realizing that the fee installment had been paid) or was this the result of a phone call to the Clerk or the filing of your Motion? Just curious.

                Des.
