Buying a house after Chap 7 BK. How hard is it?

I am thinking about filing for Chap 7 BK early next year. I just got out of the service a few months ago. I am hoping to be employed soon, and would like to buy a home. How hard is it to get a home financed after a BK? I am 24, will be a first time home buyer, and will be trying for a VA Loan. Will these factors help me get a loan even after a BK?

A very recent thread was just opened where someone just purchased a home after BK. It is generally at least 2 years and can be 3 years if you were foreclosed upon. You also need to meet the more stringent credit requirements, so you must re-establish credit and have a solid payment history.
