Anyone settle a 2nd mortgage after BK7 discharge?

I've also decided to talk to a local real estate attorney. The attorney I previously spoke with specializes mostly in BK so I want to make sure I've gotten the complete picture from someone with specific and relative experience in case my letter doesn't generate a resolution.

It's very tempting to just stop paying both and try to settle both down the road. I'm ready to get out of this state!

I think we've decided to rent this place out in the meantime if it's not settled by March of next year. This will buy us some more time to let that play out and hopefully give us a little more time to allow the market to increase a bit.

Are there any pitfalls with this plan? (Assuming we keep the 1st current)
