Discharged 6/7/12 and was just approved for 3K credit limit!

Credit One sent me an offer and I didn't think I'd get it. Never expected an approval and certainly didn't expect a 3K limit.

There is a credit life after bankruptcy!

You are now a better risk with no debt and the inability to file a Chap 7 for seven years.

Use it wisely. Don't charge anything you can't pay cash for and don't carry a balance.

Filed Chap 13 April 2010. Discharged May 2015.
$143,000 in debt discharged for $36,500, including attorneys fees. Money well spent!

I just didn't expect to be approved so soon and with a 3K limit and it says after 5 on time payments the limit will increase. Crazy

Be careful with Credit One - I believe they tend to have high annual/processing/monthly fees.

Yes every pre-approved application I received had some crazy annual fees and extra high interest rates.

I made a mistake. It's not a credit one card. It's a CAPITAL ONE. There's no crazy fees associated with what I was approved for. No annual fee, 0 APR for 6 months.

If an admin could edit my thread to change credit one to capital one that would be awesome as I don't see a way.
