I have filed for back child support that is owed to me about 20,000 dollars it a 20 yr old case if i get it can a bankruptcy take it i live in Florida and the case is in Ohio

Child support is exempt. But you should ask a BK attorney about back child support. Chances are you probably aren't going to get the money even if a judge orders your ex to pay it. Unless the ex is retired and receiving social security. Child support, including arrears, are the one thing that can be garnished from social security payment.
