How did you work the required counselling??

So if I am filing 6 months from now- I should set up counseling? As crazy as this sounds- I do not know if I can afford to go bankrupt.

$815 a month SSDI- does not give me alot of leeway.

Hi, our sessions were online and through our attorney office. The fee for the required classes was included in the fee we paid to our attorney. If you have not do so already make 2 or 3 (or more) appointments to see bankruptcy attorneys in your area. Go to the "free" constults and ask alot of questions, they will help you determine your best course of action. Many will take installments towards their fee until it is paid. If you are not planning to file for a few months that should help. Good Luck!
