I retained my attorney, today!

I actually thought I'd be filing today, but, apparently, I misunderstood. He just wanted to go over the questionnaire. I did, however, pay his fee in full, and take the credit counseling course. Sometime in the next week, he's going to prepare the petition, and, next Saturday, I'll sign the paperwork, thus completing the process.

This is such a relief! I feel like a huge weight has been lifted. I can't believe I actually once considered waiting another year. I'm so glad I didn't. In just a few months, I'll be out from under this cloud!

He said he could tell I'd done my homework. Mostly, all I did was lurk around this forum.
