paid off 401k loan.... now going bankrupt

Just a quick question.............I recently paid off 1,600.00 on my 401k that I owed on..........can the TT give me trouble for this?

have you already had your 341? your 401 is exempt, however, i'm not exactly certain how they would view the payments ..it could be considered preferential payments, although, i find paying back an exempt fund would be considered, and the amount it fairly small, although the amount could be relative depending on your total debt.

401 k is protected, so I wouldn't worry about it.

Its all a game really. Get a good lawyer, don't lie, and make the payments if you are in a 13. If you can't make the payments, then you should qualify for 7 and its game over.

BK is a simple process when you don't lie to yourself, and more importantly to the court.
