I've tried many ways to save and pay my debt, Including the snow ball credit.
I was at the point of 12 dollars in my checking after my paycheck paid the bills..

We never had credit cards. Rented. Our rent was going up to 650 per month, I thought to myself we can buy a house for that. So we looked in to a home loan and we got all the same story from the banks.. "You have no credit.. You're in your 30's and you've never had a credit card? How can you possibly live like that?" The thought of people living off of cash seemed repulsive to banks.

So we got secured cards, then on to credit cards. Then one more, then one more, bought our house. Then the economy took a dump and we had to live off of our cc's for normal household items. Now we're caught in the vicious cycle... Struggled for a few years. It takes a toll on your health of your body and family. The thought of money would simply start a family fight. But yet we still make too much for any assistance.

Now I have been discharged and I feel it's the best thing I've done in years. Here's an example. In 4 years my car has never had a full tank of gas. it's gotten over a 1/2 tank about a half dozen times.. Today I was able to fill the tank up. Oh we have food in the house and cupboards.. Plus in 5 years, this past Christmas was the 1st time we didn't request a "Holiday basket" from our local bootstrap office.
I just wish I would have gotten past the "Bankruptcy is a faillier" issue long ago. But it's better late then never.

    Ok my rant is done.
