Question - Need some urgent help

My husband and I filed and were discharged in 11/10. We were able to include our pontoon boat in the BK, however, were able to keep it as long as we made the payments. We have decided that we no longer need the boat and now have not paid anything on it for 2 months. The bank called me at work yesterday.

If we let the boat go back, will they be able to report a repossion on our credit? It already states included in bankruptcy.

I also checked our credit scores, and the ones that were discharged are reporting included in BK on 11/11. How can I get this corrected since we were discharged and closed in 11/10?

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

I did not reaffirm my car and about 6 months after BK I called them and told them to come and get it. It took them 2 or 3 months since I got lost in the system so I had a free car but finally called them again because I didn't want it anymore.
It's not a repossession because it was included in BK so nothing changed on my credit report.

Logan is correct, your bank cannot do anything to your credit report or you. Now you have the upper hand, you can buy the boat from them for a very good price.

I agree with the others, they cannot report a repo, late payments etc., unless the loan was reaffirmed. As for the credit report, make sure you are looking at the date of default or last activity and not the reporting date. Technically, they can report the loan as IIB for 10 years.
