I am so glad that I have read this post, but am so confused. We are currently in a debt management plan which has about 3 to 4 years to go. We have been in it for 2 years now. You are right, our credit scores have gone to low 600's since we signed up with them. We pay $435 every other week, and have a couple of payments outside that. We do not pay any fees - our credit union pays them & I just found out the credit companies do too.

We are probably filing in the next month or so as our rental house is going to be foreclosed on. What happens when we stop this payment? How do we stop the payments? Should we switch banks?
