    Help needed for North Carolina

I am in need of your help. I quit a job ten months ago that paid me pretty well due to stress levels were starting to cause me health issues. Took a job that paid me half of my last job but we are happy. In the meantime my motorcycle got repoed, house will be repoed, and creditors are threatening to sue us. We don't live in our house we bought a used mobile home two years ago and have been trying to sell our old house but no luck with that. Should I or do I need to file bankrupt in NC? I was told that in NC that they can not take our vehicle or house. Is this true? Thanks in advance.

good morning and welcome to the forum.

here's a site that gives you some general information on what is exempt in the state of north carolina:

my suggestions to you, would be, to seek a few FREE consultations with attys. most ALL (they are exceptions) will you give you a free evaluation. also to be too upset if you go to one or two that you don't like. we went to 5 before we found the "right" atty.

either way, that free, or those free consultations will help you get a better idea what you should do.

    best of luck!!!
