Finding an Attorney

I've found several attorneys in my area via internet search. One firm actually looks very promising, because they strictly do bankruptcy--nothing else--they're affordable, and I can pay them in installments. I looked for reviews, but couldn't find anything (which is probably a good sign, since dissatisfied clients would very likely make sure they were heard).

Can anyone tell me how I can check this firm out before I commit to hiring them?

Maybe Better Business Bureau. See if they are part of your local Chamber of Commerce.
