Would a bank send its henchmen to cut your mailbox off the post, just to get you out of a house even though it's not yet foreclosed? I came home at 4:30 in the morning to find my mailbox gone! Unbelievable!

So I made a police report at 5 in the morning. The cops came back at about 9:30 am and would you believe that the cops walked up to the dead-end side of my block and found the mailbox? Cops are something, aren't they? It's a thing going on in my neighborhood said the cops. I live in the country and this is a first for me. I moved from the city to avoid stuff like this. Of course, the mailbox was empty when the cops found it, but thankfully I wasn't expecting anything important. I guess time to go mailbox shopping. Thanks for the responses.

Think about getting one that locks - I've seen them at Home Depot I think. Also, maybe a steel post rather than a wooden one. Just a thought.Comment

Same with me...I really had a hard time recently renewing a debit card. The debit card people said to write my address as: 123 Any Street #4567, Somecity MA 01234... and I was at least able to receive the card.Originally posted by AngelinaCat View Post
