    Hummingbird online debt course...how long does it take?

    Hello...
    Moving forward with a Ch 7 filing (or so I hope...haven't heard back from lawyer after dropping off entire package last week...could be very close in terms of the 'means test' and too much disposable income! I also see that if the Ch 7 is "above median" I'm going to owe more money -- when I first consulted with attorneys I was not employed at all ,,,,)

    Anyway...I am going to do the required debt counseling course or whatever it is with Hummingbird...can someone tell me how long it takes to do online?
    30 mins? An hour? More? Don't want to start without knowing how much time to set aside.

    Any other tips about "graduating" appreciated. Thanks!

    I believe the first course took me about 30 minutes or so, tops. The second course was longer because I had to stay on each screen for a certain amount of time...

      Each one is different however, I only spent at the most 1 hour on each. Not sure what Hummingbird charges but I know you can do this pre-counseling for five dollars........ConsumerBankruptcyCounseling.info. Just make sure that it accepts your state, pretty sure there were only 2 that didn't take and I don't think TX was one.

      Side note........my sister from TX will be here for a whole month in August.......can't wait!!!!

            That's interesting. I had mine the same day. I got an email notification, went to the link and printed it. Personally, I would contact them and ask where it is.
