When my daughter was a minor i was put on her savings account, just found out she still has me on it never changed anything. Can they freeze her account she does not live with me she is a adult now. Can they freeze accounts that have someone else name on it other then spouse?

I'm in Florida but when my adult daughter filed we were both on a savings account she had had since 2 yrs old. My name was first. They did not close as I didn't file the BK - she did. Who's name is first? I would say if her name is first - then they sure could do anything they want with it.

Are you filing bk or, worried about the account being leived by creditors?
If it's the later, a judgment creditor can go after any bank account you're associated with. You need to withdraw from that account immediately.
