Plane tickets purchased prior to filing - trip coming up. Guilt and 341 issue?

My daughter is in the Army. We booked a flight within 90 days of filing to visit her ($1,800 - she's stationed in a nice place ), and the unpaid ticket cost to unsecured creditor is inside the plan. We had previously saved up cash for this trip. We will be staying at my daughters place and using her car so no additional travel costs there. We just plan on doing a few extras with whatever cash we have, and I know my parents will be giving us a little cash too.

Even when I charged the tickets, and even though the idea of bankruptcy was in my mind, I still believed naively that I would find a way out. Only within the past month did I fully realize I have no way out.

I told the attorney this prior to filing 13 and he said not to worry and have a good time. I feel guilty - should I? I assumee this will come out in the 341 meeting since the charge is within 90 days of filing. Will it be considered fraudulent? Will it have to be paid in full? Just curious - all I want to do is the right thing from filing point forward.

worst case scenario that I can see is that you wont be able to get it discharged and will have to pay it back in full. However with that being said, could the trustee look at it differently? Possibly... depends on the trustee. In any event, now that you know you're filing - do not use any more credit cards; cut them up and dont look back. You have to begin to change your mind set and learn how to live within your income without anything to "fall back" on.

    Good luck to you!
