    Random US Trustee Audit

I read somewhere that if you're going to be randomly audited by the US Trustee that you generally receive notification within 10 days of filing your BK petition. Does anyone know if this is actually true?

For the record, I'm not trying to hide anything! An audit really wouldn't be a problem, other than the sheer nuisance of it. It's just that I'm sitting here in this 60-day vortex and am starting to feel a bit squeamish about, well, anything & everything. I thought I'd feel great after the 341 was over but I'm still second-guessing everything just as much as I was before the meeting! It would be great if 341 meetings ended with a complimentary 60-day supply of xanax. Or maybe a case of stiff drinks.
OK - from now on it's not a "Bankruptcy." It's a "Weight Loss Program." I'm in. Sign me up.

All I can say is that I lived on zanax and tried my hardest just to zone everything out during the 60 days. To me the 341 was hard, but the 60 days waiting afterwards was really hard. I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop and smash us.

I guess my ignorance was bliss. I was oblivious to the mines and pitfalls my case could encounter. I went through two 60-day waiting periods. After waiting one out for my Chapter 13, I converted to a 7 at the last minute and had to wait another 60 days. I never thought about my case either time. In fact, last week when my lawyer told me about my discharge I swear I was like, has it been 60 days already?
