Filed non-consumer BK7 on Friday and on Saturday got bill in mail from oldest (1983) credit card which I did not included in filing because it had a zero balance and I hoped it survived.
Well, unbeknown to me, my wife had used it at a store about a month ago because she had left her debit card at home.
The balance is only about $50. I don't want to add it to filing, just want to pay it.
Is there a problem with me just paying the small balance and forgetting about it.
I guess that is somewhat preferential treatment to a creditor but considering we are discharging slightly over a million, the $50 is not really fraud?
