Finally Able to Tell Creditors I am Filing!

I finally formally retained my atty so now I can tell my creditors I am filing and give them his name/number.

I am actually excited about talking to them because it has been over a month of 30 or so calls a day that I didn't answer. I looked up the numbers and added names to them so I could see who they were - everyday my friends Chase, Amex, Wells, Discover and more called me from 8am to 9pm.

The creditors I have spoken with have all been very nice (just people who have to do their job ... who probably have their own financial challenges). The only one a little odd was RBS. The guy told me "well, we will still keep calling you anyway."

i know we thought all the calls would stop too...even our atty sent out letters and told us to direct the calls to their office...however, none would stop until they got the official order from the court with the docket number.....they just kept on callin...they were nice..finally we blocked our phone as it took us over a year to pay off our atty...we were doing it monthly.
