engagement ring

where besides shopnbc, can i find a place that will let me put a engagement ring on a payment plan? I want to get an engagement ring for my girlfriend of 3 years for Easter and I don't want to blow a whole month's worth of pay doing it. Yes I know I can get one for $300, but I figure she's waited 3 years I want to make it worth her wait. I want to get her one around $800 or $900.

What I meant is I want to be able for it take take like $200 or $300 out of my checking each month until it's paid for instead of a $800 or $900 or $1000 payment. Just wanted to clear it up.

You better go ahead and put it in layaway. You don't have many options when it comes to credit and bankruptcy.

Just my thoughts, but I would consider putting it on layaway. Or you could set aside a certain amount each month within reason that you want to spend and save up for it. My husband and I are using the envelope system to save for our son's class ring, travel, etc.
