Had our final meeting with attorney this past Tuesday, had to call in some information this afternoon and our Chapter 7 will be filed tomorrow! What a relief finally, everything is coming together for us to move on, couldn't have done it without this great forum and resource and support from everyone here. We are giving up the house, we are underwater and it needs major money to upgrade and repairs. That was the hardest thing to finally come to terms with, but it is the best decision for us. Especially at our age, fifties, don't want to be struggling to try to fix this house and pay on a mortgage that is more than the value of the home. Reading everyone's experiences here and knowing that we can rebound from this has been huge for our outlook for the future. We are actually looking forward now with renewed enthusiasm. Life looks bright again!
