    i think 90 days is best to make certain everything has time to catch up and be posted...otherwise you'll go nuts pulling the report every month.

      General consensus seems to be 60 - 90 days given that most lenders report only once per month.
      Stopped paying: 08/10, Filed CH7: 08/27/10 , 341 & No Asset Report: 10/6/10, Last day to object: 12/06/10, Discharged: 12/07/10, Closed: 12/08/10

        I waited 4 months and only had to correct 1 error which went well. Also got a free credit score from creditkarma.

          If you are responsible with your money, you can get a home loan regardless of your credit score. Some lenders use “manual underwriting” instead of a credit score. Manual underwriting is a better way to judge someone’s ability to pay back a loan.
