A couple months ago I was served and had to go to court. I survived, ha, and luckily was one of the later ones to get called up (it was a full room!) so the first couple rescheduled dates were full and mine got bumped back to Oct. 28th (2 months later). I was so relieved and thought we would have this moving more by then...but nope. Things just keeping coming up that are sucking our money and DH is having issues and needs to get on a Dave Ramsey plan or something quick as he finally has money and things we can just spend it without thinking about getting other things taken care of! Anyway...we still don't have our bk completly paid off. We are going to do the paperwork together tonight and tomorrow and make copies of our paystubs, W2 forms, bank statements, etc tomorrow and take everything with another payment taking us about $200 away from having it completly paid off (we will have our lawyer and court fees paid, just have the reaffirmation and extra # of credit card fees left). 2nd problem to go along with getting to skip on court because we have officially completed our bk filing is that I have a training at work that day that I cannot get out of so I can't go to court in the first place.
