    Private school tuition???

Ok, on Form 22C it says that I can list private school tuition, but it cannot exceed $147.92 per child.

So, does that mean that's all I can claim? What if it is actually more than that? I spend $206 a month to send my kid to a Christian School. Will I be forced to pull him out of school?

For the means test (form B22), yes; you are limited to the $147.92 per child. However, on schedule J, you will list the full amount. Also, you will need to be able to document the education expense.

      Hey artgood,

My daughter also goes to Christian private school, $551/month plus $250/month in after school care. Means test only allows the IRS limit of 147.92, but on J I claimed both full tuition and extended care without a problem, no questioning.
