    Well I did it....

    I finally put my retainer fee and contracts in the mail today. It has been sitting on my desk for a week. I had a really hard time putting it in the mail. It's real now. We are bankrupt.

    Count down to 10/18 when I could hopefully file

                Freddy...congrats on taking a big step! I wish you the best. Remeber, you are not bankrupt. You filed for Bankruptcy Protection. You are taking a legal/buisness step to protect you and your family from being broke/saddled with judgments/harrased by creditors, etc. It will turn out to be a good thing. Your creditors do not hesitate to use the law to thier full advantage and neither should you, as they say......hey, it's not personal, it's buisness!

                    You'll feel worse before you feel better, your 341 meeting will turn your nerves a bit, then the wait for discharge is a pressure cooker.

                    Congrats on step 1.. most important paying the Lawyer to make it happen.
