The only power he has is what power you give him, period. If you really feel as you say you do - then you'd move heaven and earth for your children - no if's, and's or but's. If you have the power to voice it on here, in a public forum, then you have the power to voice it in front of a judge.

We can assist you with questions you have in regards to bankruptcy however the rest is up to you and you alone. Sort of like the decision to file bankruptcy - we all go through it.. we can either stay the victim or be proactive and do something about it. It really is that simple, unless we like being the victim (and believe it or not - some people do) Negative attention is attention nonetheless.

May I suggest you look into your local womens shelter for battered women...they can and will help you in every aspect of your life as well as your childrens.

I have tried to get out. I have called for help. There is no room at shelters and the people hang up on you. If I leave with the kids , where will I stay? I have no family. I only make $720 a month and with no car how would I get to work? Maybe in some areas shelters really work, but in my area they do not. I tried several times to get legal counsel, but the fees are more than I can pay. Thank you for the advice, and yes I will try to seek help again.
