Renting RV for a week.

Has anyone had trouble renting Rv . We are planning a 4 day trip and want to rent
a RV or Trailer for the trip. Will they check credit besides get large deposit. I know they will check driver license record. Nothing on any of the rental sites. Except 1000 deposit required.

I've never heard of them doing a credit check or even checking your driving record. In fact in Florida, your driving record is NOT public info. So you must have to give them permission.

I did find a company in Sarasota that says rental terms are they reserve the right to check driving record and credit report. So maybe they do now. I could understand a big expensive 80,000 RV, but a little travel trailer . The deposits are really high and daily rates high. We really just want to try it out, considering buying one someday.
