They can take my sons? Without the food budget for 3 teenage boys I might not have to file at all! How much will the trustee pay for 3 perfectly annoying but otherwise healthy teens? I'm guessing $1 each.

tobee HAHAHAHA!!! Maine, I feel you but I only have one, just turned 13. I will have to let the Trustee know that he just hit puberty and maybe I can add a few C notes to my food budget. Suuuure!

There are times that I think I should just sell a kidney and be done with all this. I chickened out last time though and I am determined to make it happen now. If only I had the ability to stop using the cards two months ago. As it stands I have not had any new charges in a month. Its just that some of THOSE charges are on the current bill.

I have another week and a half and by then my visit with the attorney before I see what I should do. I do not like the idea of a 'preferential' payment sending up a flag so I may pay them all one more time...... We shall see. Dang, I posted on all my threads at once. No one even knows what I am talking about do they?! lol

              Later,
              Ugh!

I'm willing to take your word for it that they will turn human, but as an alternative I am willing to offer the trustee my entire food budget for the month of September if he would repossess them all. I could sell them into slavery, but the buyer would quickly want a refund.

One of them has a liver disease and had to have a very expensive surgery a few months ago. Now she will be on 2 medications for the rest of her life at about $50/month (she's only 2 years old) and has to have routine tests to monitor her liver. She also has to eat a special food that costs us $25/month. One of our other dogs has a kidney problem and has to eat a different food, also at $25/month. Because of the multiple health problems and the HUGE vet bills we've had in the past, we have a veterinary wellness plan for the 3 dogs that costs a total of $89/month. It has paid for itself numerous times, since it also pays for all shots, check-ups, tests, teeth cleaning, etc and we only pay a fraction of other medical procedures. We also get them groomed once every 3 months (they're poodles - they NEED to be groomed!) at $40 each.

So, total, we spend about $229/month on them. How big of a problem is this going to be? I'm in Middle District Florida, if that makes a difference.

I just remembered. Someone on this forum used to rescue horses so you should be OK.

I have the hairiest shit tzu ever, she has to go to the groomer every 4 weeks, she smells like a dirty foot that has been rubbed in Frito's if she doesn't get groomed. The Yorkie can go 2 months, he smells only slightly Frito-y.
