Hi:
First post. My wife and I are using Money Management International to repay $50k in credit card debt. So far so good. The credit cards were opened by me, but she signed on to the MMI agreement. We're now getting a divorce, and finances are getting worse, and I'd like to file for BK. She doesn't want her credit (if she has any) to show a BK. Does having a "joint" account with MMI implicate her in a BK, even though the credit cards are in my name? Thanks for any help. Obviously since money is critical right now, I can't go out and hire a BK and a Divorce attorney to help with this. I'm in Texas.
