I told my tenant to stay free until the trustee sale, then she'd have 5 days after that to move. She left prior to the sale, however. After the trustee sale the bank then sent notice of forcible detainer to the empty rental house, rather than to my own house. Hence, I was unaware of that, and now have an eviction on my record, even though I never lived in that place. Why they sent notice there, even when the FC and notice of trustee sale was sent to my house, I don't know. Just as an FYI, you may want to keep tabs on your rental properties that go into trustee sale.
