Has my case been filed?

My attorney said she was going to try and file my case last Friday, but there was a chance it wouldn't get filed until Monday. I just signed up for pacer and can't find my record, tried to locate it with my name and SS#. Even if she had filed late Friday afternoon, would it have shown up by now? Filing on Friday or Monday doesn't matter to me, but I am anxious to get my 341 date. TIA.

Sometimes entries take a couple of business days to show up in PACER, but when they do, they show up as of the date actually filed, and with a separate date of entry. Actual people have to actually scan the documents into the system, and if they got your petition late on a Friday, it probably won't show up until Monday or Tuesday.

Sounds good. I'll check tomorrow and see if it is in there. I just look forward to getting the 341 over with and hopefully it will be sooner rather than later! Not sure how busy our district is. Thanks Tigergem

You're welcome. I make it a practice to only check PACER for new filings after the close of the business day for the Clerk's office. It saves time and money.
