Without any context, no one can answer your question. Garnish? Who is garnishing? Why are they garnishing? Is this a lawsuit with a credit card? Is there a judgment?Chapter 7 (No Asset/Non-Consumer) Filed (Pro Se) 7/08 (converted from Chapter 13 - 2/10)
Status: (Auto) Discharged and Closed! 5/10

It may never happen at all.
You have be sued, they have to obtain a judgment, then if you don't pay they file for a garnishment, then they garnish. I had over 1.3 million in CC and mortgage debt, it is going on 4 years, I no longeer even get bills for any of those debts. Now, the time to sue me is coming to an end. I suspect they scan my credit report routinely, and decided it was worth their while to sue. Also, garnishment is not allowed in every state. In aany case, it'll be aa long time before initiation of the lawsuit, if it ever comes, and the actual garnishment.
