    Discharge question

My bankruptcy had a final objection day of June 21, 2010 which is 60 days after the 341 meeting. When I logged into PACER my case still does not show that it has been discharged. My bankruptcy should have been discharged by now don't you think? Pacer shows no ojections by any creditors. Please help!

I would check the Status screen on PACER and see what FLAGS you have there. There could be a flag holding up your discharge. Also, not all Districts use the "autodischarge" feature in PACER. I believe that California Southern (CSB) doesn't do auto discharges. There are other Districts that don't as well.

My first inclination, however, is to check the FLAGS on your case.
    Chapter 7 (No Asset/Non-Consumer) Filed (Pro Se) 7/08 (converted from Chapter 13 - 2/10)
Status: (Auto) Discharged and Closed! 5/10

Yeah, California is bad..especially the central district (Los Angeles)! Took my simple no asset chapter 7 bankruptcy case 6 months to be discharged. Courts get backed up. Unless you get/got some bad news, don't sweat it. It'll happen.

      Good luck,

Thanks for the feedback. I actually called the courts and turns out they are backed up with cases and had yet to get around to my case. The guy I talked to on the phone was nice enough to go ahead and discharge my case while I was on the phone with him.
