Question Hanging in there after 341...How many months? **Orange County, CA

Just had our 341 about 2 months ago and we are hanging to every dollar until we get our discharge. How months does it take typically to get a discharge in California, specifically Orange County, CA?

You joined the so called "60 day club" when your 341 meeting was completed. Being that you say it was 2 months ago, your discharge should be coming soon.

I heard that it takes 3 or 4 months after the 341 meeting before the discharge is final. This is due to the furloughs and layoffs.

So do the Trustees or have 60 days to respond or dispute, if not then eventually I'll get my discharge letter? Is that how it works?

I'm nearly done, but it's almost 5 months since the 341. It's nerve wracking.
