I'm an accountant and have been struggling to find part time work or any work that fits around having two kids....(can't afford day care and increased tax burden with the pay cuts full time jobs want you to take in the current job market)
I'm thinking of trying to start doing some consulting...pound the pavement to local small businesses, get some cards printed up, flyers, see what I can reel in if I hustle. I know it may not be much with the economy but I'm not looking to make a ton - just enough to replace my UI benefits which is factored into our current repayment (CH 13)
As long as I'm not taking a loan or debt, do I need permission to try this?
