I moved states eight months ago to stay with family while I finished school, but I couldn't (and still can't) afford to ship my stuff down here to GA (I just brought what I could fit in my car), so it's in a storage unit in the old state. I know I'm under the exemptions for all categories, and I have so little that I can actually remember everything in order to list it. Not the title of every last book, but enough to lump it into "Misc Media" or whatever.
But I've heard that in some cases, there are random "audits" where they want to come look at your stuff. Or maybe just having to list location would make them get all suspicious. I can't afford a couple grand to bring it to a storage unit down here just so it's available for review, but it wouldn't surprise me if the trustee tried to use the unavailable items as a reason to give me trouble.
Hit me. Nothing will surprise me.
