Qs about an old utility bill in my name and putting a new utility bill in my husbands

We are filing joint Chapter 7 and there is an OLD about 3 years or so NICOR and ComEd bill in my name. Will we get hit with a huge deposit if we put the new services under my husbands name? We haven't had services with these companies for about 3 years due to living in a different state/different provider. Is there a way they can cross link them, my old utility bill with his social?

I can't tell you for sure. It is highly unlikely they can "link" bills using another person's social security number.

Generally if your husband has not had service with that utility in the past lasting long enough to establish credit, they'll require a deposit. Some utilities have been subscribing to equifax and are given a deposit requirement based on credit history.
