Hyatt legal.... kind of a HMO of Lawyers, so far its been very helpful.

The firm I finaly chose advertised on the BK Lawyer Directory on this forum. What a great, great group of people. Friendly, helpful, treat me with respect (some I interviewed acted like they were doing ME a favor), and they are there for me whenever I call or email. Wonderful folks!

Google here was well. We went through each attorney's website and picked the one that had the most information, a lot of articles and advice, and the one we got the best "feel" from.

I found my Bankruptcy attorney via Google

I came across my bankruptcy attorney while I was searching through Google. They provided me a great number of lists that was really helpful to choose.

I used our NYSE group Pre-Paid Legal. They gave us a referral of an AV Rated BK Attorney who was close, we went and interviewd them, free for the interview. Once we felt comfortable we then received 25% off the rate since we are a member of Pre-Paid Legal. LOVE that part!!!!

Just finished our 341 meeting and are now a part of the 60 day club........dumped over $1 MILLION of debt!

WHY would you go through the phone book for the best advertised attorney? I'd highly recommend using the AV rated ones!
