    Absolutely! To the extent that you pledge property as collateral for a loan which is considered "investment", it's non-consumer in nature. As a matter of fact, most small business debtors use or had used their homes as collateral to fund the business.

    If that "investment" -- and all other investments -- are more than 50% of your total consumer debt, then you are a non-consumer case.
