Hi everyone.
I am most likely going to be filing chapter 7 pro se in the next month or so - still researching! - and have a question. My daughter age 12 received Veteren's benefits and Social Security Survivor benefits - her father passed away when she was 3. I believe I dont have to use them for the means test, though even if I do I'm still fine. However i'm not really sure how to treat them elsewhere. Do I list them in my schedule of income? What about as an exemption? My state allows exemptions for child's income and SSA and VA benefits, how would I list it - technically they are benefits, but it is also her income.
Thanks!
Jessica
