First one was a total joke but the second one really impressed me I think I will go with him. When I questioned him all his answers except one corrosponded to what I thought it should be. Between DW and I we have 3 summons, the nearest one is one week off from needing an answer he said if we file within 30 days (which we plan on) their is no need to answer them. Reason being we will be filed before they have time to get a garinshment, lein or levy in place. I do agree with that but I figured we would want to file a simple answer to buy time and avoid the default judgements. he shrugged them off as a very minor detail. should I be concerned about this?

Most jurisdictions require you pay a fee to answer the summons. Sometimes they are minor, sometimes they are a few hundred dollars. If it doesn't cost you anything, go ahead and answer with a general denial and ask for a trial date. If it costs you anything, I just see that as good money after bad
